Terms of Service

1. Scope & Provider

These Terms of Service apply to the use of Crewvolution at crewvolution.com, operated by Luke Hanssen (hereinafter "Provider"). By registering and using the platform, you accept these Terms in their current version.

These Terms constitute General Terms and Conditions (AGB) within the meaning of §§ 305 ff. BGB (German Civil Code). Conflicting terms of the user are not accepted unless the Provider has expressly agreed to them in writing. Mandatory statutory consumer protection rights remain unaffected.

2. Service Description

Crewvolution is a web-based platform for organising and managing event crews. It enables the management of projects, events, shift schedules and staff assignments, as well as communication via integrated notifications (email, SMS, Discord).

The Provider makes the platform available to the best of its ability but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance work or force majeure may temporarily limit availability.

3. Registration & Account

Use of Crewvolution requires a free registration. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. Your account is personal and non-transferable. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.

4. User Obligations

By using Crewvolution, you agree:

  • not to post unlawful, offensive or misleading content
  • not to use automated access (bots, scrapers) without explicit permission
  • not to circumvent any security measures of the platform
  • not to collect or use other users' data without authorisation
  • to comply with GDPR when processing personal data of your crew members via the platform

In the event of a breach, the Provider may suspend or delete the account.

5. Privacy

Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Project owners are responsible for GDPR-compliant processing of their crew members' personal data.

6. Intellectual Property

All rights to the Crewvolution platform belong to the Provider or its licensors. Use of the platform does not grant any right to copy or distribute it or its content. Content you upload remains your property. You grant the Provider the rights necessary to store and process your content for the operation of the platform.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Provider is fully liable for damages arising from injury to life, limb or health, and for intentional or grossly negligent conduct. For minor negligence involving essential contractual obligations (cardinal obligations), liability is limited to foreseeable, contract-typical damage.

Further liability for minor negligence is excluded. Liability for data loss is limited to cases where such loss could not have been avoided through proper data backup by the user. These limitations do not apply where mandatory statutory provisions — particularly consumer protection law — require otherwise.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time via the settings. The Provider may terminate the agreement with 30 days' notice by email. The right to terminate immediately for serious breach remains unaffected.

9. Changes to These Terms

The Provider reserves the right to amend these Terms. You will be notified of material changes at least 30 days before they take effect by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, you may delete your account before the changes take effect.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). Jurisdiction is, to the extent permitted by law, the Provider's place of business. For consumers in other EU member states, mandatory consumer protection laws of their country of residence apply in addition.

11. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is or becomes invalid in whole or in part, this does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions (§ 306 BGB). The invalid provision shall be replaced by the applicable statutory rule. Mandatory statutory provisions — particularly consumer protection rights — remain unaffected in all cases.
